West Tower is an exclusive wedding venue in Ormskirk hosting amazing weddings and events all year round. Luckily for us it’s our local and there is nothing we love more than decorating it with florals for weddings!

The country house is full of endless places to decorate weather that be indoor or outdoor from the ballroom to the pergola we love to add those all important finishing touches to make a dream day look like a pinterest wedding!

Charlotte & Joe got hitched on the 20th May this year and when Charlotte first got in touch this was her pinterest board!

I initially squealed with excitement as although whites and greens are super elegant and classy for weddings, working with colour really excites me! Pillar box bright reds with blush tones in a modern and compact design with elements of foliage

Charlotte & Joe had the following florals
Bride bouquet
5 Bridesmaids
10 Buttonholes
2 floral columns to create an arch
11 Table centrepieces
18ft Top table
Entrance decor

Bride

The bridal bouquet for Charlotte had a mixture of several varieties of red roses as well as coral peony, white ranunculus, blush roses, spray roses and lisianthus and a touch of green foliage.

Designed in a large modern and compact style with matching but smaller versions for the bridesmaids

Ceremony

West Tower is an elegant blank canvas which is great went in comes to styling as pretty much anything works well! Charlotte opted for a parted arch where we created to fully filled flower columns for the ceremony backdrop and it did not disappoint! Chunky arched over filled with scented garden roses framed the I do’s with the added touch of some candles and table decor

Tables
For the centrepieces we used a wooden log surrounded by various candles (floating/tealight and pillar) with eucalyptus amongst flowers for pops of colour. They were full and flowery and really gave the tables that bit of wedding glow! Colour on the tables really helps and makes it stand out!

Top table

For the top table we moved the flower columns beind the top table to frame the bride and groom for the speeches and meal. We always make sure we reuse the ceremony flowers into the wedding breakfast so you get as much use out of them! The 18ft long table was decorated with a garland of eucalyptus and flowers as well as some candles to match the tables. It always nice to have a fully decorated top table and I never think you can be too over the top!

Stair decor

As the stairs are the first thing you see as you walk into West tower many couples like to add something to decorate it so we added a floral decoration and some candles to welcome the guests nicely

Cake flowers

For the rustic buttercream cake we added a simple design of a cluster of flowers to finish the cake and the wedding bouquet was added to the table for the wedding breakfast
